Can you believe it`s the 1st February? We had some snow and freezing rain earlier in the week, so I am still dreaming of Spring here.
It`s also time for another Team B or the International Design Team (sounds cool doesn`t it) challenge over at Polka Doodles. Our theme for this week is Lots of layers and include the colours red and pink.
Here is my wee bit of inspiration for you this week, with this lovely cute owl who is called Winnie. She can be found on the Polka Doodles CD Double Sprinkle of Kraft, this CD has lots of lovely cute images for you to colour, there are also pre-coloured images and toppers for that quick card, embellishments, sentiments and many fabulous papers.
The patterned papers are from the new Cherry Blossom Lane CD which was released just before Christmas. Once again Nikky out did herself and there are wonderful images. toppers, papers, embellishments, sentiments for Birthdays, Weddings, Celebration, Get Well and so much more.
Of course I cut Winnie with my Silhouette Cameo and I popped her up, along with the flowers to add depth to the card. My card base is only 4.25" by 5" and yet the cut was perfect. I coloured her with my Spectrum Noir markers.
I added a lovely bit of tulle and can you see, can you see, I used a button LOL! I've not really added many buttons to my cards, but I'm starting and I even criss-crossed some twine through the holes, like I have seen a lot of you do.
I used the same floral paper on the inside of my card. I inked all the edges of all my layers, after last weeks disastrous day, I am remembering to do this before I stick everything down !
I hope you have all had a fabulous week and will take the time to go along and enter in this weeks challenge.
I might be MIA until at least, well, Monday LOL! I wonder why?!!!!!
